The Noodee Box

Had dinner with boyfriend, his Mum and 2 sisters at Marina Square Level 4 - The Noodee Box. It's the first stall on the left when you arrive from the main escalator.

Apparently, the boss of this stall took pictures with some famous celebrities like Jay Chou (many many years ago).

Food is really good. Try the original noodles if you have zero idea what to eat.

Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe

The boyfriend owns a Peng Yau card from Xin Wang, and since October is also his birthday month, we went to redeem this birthday platter that is complimentary.

It cost $18 (according to the benefits brochure).

Custard Caramel Pudding

I bought the Marigold pudding and jellies last week because I wanted to collect the pokka dots bowls.

In the end, I fell in love with the custard caramel ones. :)

Lawry's, The Prime Rib

We told each other not to buy any birthday gifts for each other, because every cent counts! Need to save for the pre-wedding photoshoot in Taiwan, and of course, for the big day.

And so, he brought me to Saboten on my birthday, and I brought him to Lawry's for his. :)

Quite awed by their service. I only told them that I'm celebrating a birthday, and they prepared desserts (yes, on the house) for him. :)

Good Service

Quite awed by the reminder SMS for the dinner reservation I made 2 weeks ago! I hope the service will continue to impress me later. :)
